What you're actually paying for
Dry cleaning isn't really about the chemicals — perchloroethylene is cheap. You're paying for the finishing: pre-treatment of stains, correct temperature, and — the part nobody thinks about — hand-ironing the garment after cleaning so it comes back like new.
Cheap dry cleaners skip finishing. If a ₹99 shirt comes back with visible steam-press lines and a wonky collar, you saved ₹50 and lost the shirt.
How RIZ N WASH prices
We're deliberately not the cheapest — we're benchmarked to be about 20% below the mall counters and 20% above the neighbourhood dhobi. That's the sweet spot where you get genuine finishing without paying for real estate.
For wedding-grade pieces (heavy lehenga, embroidered sherwani), we always quote before we clean — sometimes stones need to be individually taped, which changes the price. No surprises at delivery.
